We would appreciate your prayers for:

1. 1. Our upcoming trip to Vancouver, Canada where we have been invited by the directors of the One Life One Chance Mission Base in San Quintin. They graciously offered to cover our expenses so we could speak at their missions event in Chilliwack, B.C. We plan to be there Octover 20-27. Just Yoly and I plan to go and please pray Yoly's Canadian Visa gets approved and sent back before our departure date.
2. Our church youth have been conducting weekly and bi-weekly VBS outreaches in the 5000 area of San Quintin where many at-risk children and teenagers live. Several youth and adults have been attending church as a result of this outreach. Please pray for the Lord to continue to bless and annoint our youth and the outreaches to save many lost souls in this community and to bring forth much fruit for His glory.
3. A group of ladies from our church attended a Child Evangelism Seminar in Ensenada last week and were very blessed. As the pastor's wife, Yoly, feels the Lord is leading her to provide special training in this area for our church Sunday school teachers and those who want to be future teachers. Because of the great need that exists for qualified Sunday school teachers in the local churches she hopes to invite all those interested in this ministry for a special training course to be hosted in our church for all of the San Quintin Valley. Please pray for this special project to help equip our teachers to be more effective in our gospel outreach to the children and for the vision to begin Good News Clubs in many communities.
4. Our church Men's Group is growing, by God's grace, and the men are interested in receiving the Inductive Bible Study Course. Please pray for the Lord's wisdom to help me teach this course effectively in this last quarter of 2011.
5. Please pray for the health of our Triqui sister named Marivel. She is 43 years old and is going through serious health issues mainly from a deteriorating heart condition. She has been a faithful servant of the Lord and we appreciate your prayers that the Lord would do a miracle in her health. Please also pray for a 36 year old Triqui brother named Ernesto who is also going through difficulties with his health due to his advanced stage of diabetes. Please also pray for the Lord to do a miracle and heal him.
6. For the Lord's special protection for our boys and all of the children and youth in the San Quintin Valley after the violent murder of a 16 year old high school boy this past week and for the capture of those responsible.
