Pastor Brent Bowden left Thursday, July 28th for the Vanuatu mission trip. He will be gone through August 13, 2011. Pastor Brent will be traveling with Pastor Larry Baker and several team members from Southern Oregon. Pastor Godwin Dingley will be joining the team as they travel north to Mota Lava, Vanuatu, South Pacific.

The team will be providing teacher training workshops for the Ni-Vanuatu staff at Island Rock Christian School (IRCS). Pastor Brent will be training staff members on how to effectively use a new Bible curriculum for the students. Special messages will be shared nightly, as the team desires to encourage and strengthen the IRCS staff and surrounding community members. The team will also be taking part in construction projects at IRCS.

Pastors Godwin and Brent will be traveling to the Torres Islands for a three day outreach. They will be sharing the gospel with many villagers, who were unable to attend the previous outreach in February, 2011.

Continue to pray safety and God's will for the people of Torres.

• Join Worship on the Rock church members (in Vanuatu) in weekly prayer and fasting for the people of Vanuatu.
• Commit to join the prayer team at CCN for daily prayer during the outreach
• Help provide funding for the outreach.
• Get the word out about how God is working in the country of Vanuatu
  

• Pray for individuals going to Vanuatu
• Pray for the teams' health and safety
• Pray for Island Rock Christian School staff as they learn about the new curriculum
  
• Pray for the people of the Torres Islands that many would come to know Jesus
